Console et SSH
Console du conteneur dans l'interface Proxmox : compte root, connexion automatique sans mot de passe. Le SSH de root n'est ouvert que si vous l'avez demandé à l'installation.

  • Authentication: Music Assistant (schema 28+) requires a login. On first use you create an admin account at http://<container-ip>:8095/setup (via the admin wizard; do not lose these credentials — they cannot be recovered). Users can have admin or user role. Exposing the UI through Home Assistant's hass_ingress integration gates reachability behind the HA login, but MA still requires its own account login — it does not inherit the add-on's 'no password, auto-login from HA' behaviour (that is a Supervisor-internal feature unavailable to a standalone Docker LXC).
  • 'Sign in with Home Assistant' option: MA shows this login button automatically when you configure the Home Assistant provider inside MA (Settings > Providers > Home Assistant) with your HA URL. Note this also imports your HA media players into MA as players (a side effect to be aware of), and it is configured from the MA UI, not the install script.

Music Assistant is a free, open-source media library manager that connects streaming services and local music to a wide range of players. This script deploys the official Docker server in an LXC container with host networking for player discovery.

Configuration : /opt/musicassistant/data

Dans le shell du nœud Proxmox. Exécutez cette commande dans le shell du nœud Proxmox, pas dans une VM. Lisez le script d'abord.

Tutoriel pas à pas

De l'interface de Proxmox jusqu'à la première connexion, pour Music Assistant.

  1. Ouvrez l'interface de Proxmox dans votre navigateur et connectez-vous.

  2. Dans l'arbre de gauche, cliquez sur votre nœud, puis sur « Shell ».

  3. Vérifiez que le nœud a la place pour ce conteneur : 2 cœurs, 4 Go de mémoire, 8 Go de disque.

  4. Copiez cette commande, collez-la dans le shell et appuyez sur Entrée.

  5. Attendez la fin de l'installation : le script affiche l'adresse du conteneur.

  6. Ouvrez http://ADRESSE-IP:8095 dans votre navigateur, en remplaçant ADRESSE-IP par l'adresse affichée.

  7. Pour mettre à jour plus tard : tapez update dans la console du conteneur.

  8. Le fichier de configuration se trouve ici : /opt/musicassistant/data

À savoir

  • Requires Docker with host networking inside the LXC. Enable nesting and keyctl (defaults in this script).
  • Music Assistant developers recommend the Home Assistant add-on. This is an unofficial Docker LXC install path.
  • Web UI: http://<container-ip>:8095. Music Assistant requires layer-2 network access — MA, players, and Home Assistant should be on the same flat network or VLAN. Host networking is mandatory for the Docker container.
  • Update an existing container: run update inside the LXC, or pct exec <CTID> -- update from the Proxmox host. Interactive update shows Silent/Verbose/Cancel, then Update Music Assistant or Remove Unused Images. Unattended (PHS_SILENT=1 or non-TTY) runs a silent app update.
  • If host-network Docker fails on an unprivileged LXC, try privileged mode: var_unprivileged=0 bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oraad/proxmox-scripts/main/ct/musicassistant.sh)"
  • Alpine template: run pveam update, then pveam available --section system | grep alpine-3.24. Download if missing: pveam download local alpine-3.24-default_20260116_amd64.tar.xz (use the exact name from pveam available on your arch). Fallback: var_version=3.22 if 3.24 is not listed on an older Proxmox host.
  • Optional local music library: during Advanced install you can enter a host path (bind-mounted to /media in the LXC). Unattended: var_media_path=/path/on/host bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oraad/proxmox-scripts/main/ct/musicassistant.sh)". Unprivileged bind mounts may require correct host directory ownership or var_unprivileged=0.
