Console et SSH
Console du conteneur dans l'interface Proxmox : compte root, connexion automatique sans mot de passe. Le SSH de root n'est ouvert que si vous l'avez demandé à l'installation.

/opt/matter-hub.env
  • Bridge data and fabric credentials are stored in /opt/matter-hub_data. Deleting that directory unpairs every controller and requires re-commissioning.

Home Assistant Matter Hub publishes your Home Assistant entities as Matter devices, so Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and any other Matter controller can see and control them. It acts as a Matter bridge in front of Home Assistant and needs only a long-lived access token to connect. This installs the actively maintained RiDDiX fork - the original t0bst4r project reached end of maintenance in January 2026.

Configuration : /opt/matter-hub.env

Dans le shell du nœud Proxmox. Exécutez cette commande dans le shell du nœud Proxmox, pas dans une VM. Lisez le script d'abord.

Générateur : préparer la commande avec vos réglages

Remplissez seulement ce que vous voulez changer. Les valeurs vides gardent le réglage par défaut du script.

Tutoriel pas à pas

De l'interface de Proxmox jusqu'à la première connexion, pour Home Assistant Matter Hub.

  1. Ouvrez l'interface de Proxmox dans votre navigateur et connectez-vous.

  2. Dans l'arbre de gauche, cliquez sur votre nœud, puis sur « Shell ».

  3. Vérifiez que le nœud a la place pour ce conteneur : 2 cœurs, 4 Go de mémoire, 12 Go de disque.

  4. Copiez cette commande, collez-la dans le shell et appuyez sur Entrée.

  5. À la question « Use Default Settings? », répondez oui pour garder les réglages par défaut. Répondez non pour choisir vous-même l'identifiant, l'adresse, le disque ou le réseau.

  6. Attendez la fin de l'installation : le script affiche l'adresse du conteneur.

  7. Ouvrez http://ADRESSE-IP:8482 dans votre navigateur, en remplaçant ADRESSE-IP par l'adresse affichée.

  8. Pour entrer dans le conteneur : sélectionnez-le dans Proxmox, puis « Console ». La session root s'ouvre sans mot de passe.

  9. Pour mettre à jour plus tard : tapez update dans la console du conteneur.

  10. Le fichier de configuration se trouve ici : /opt/matter-hub.env

À savoir

  • Set HAMH_HOME_ASSISTANT_URL and HAMH_HOME_ASSISTANT_ACCESS_TOKEN in /opt/matter-hub.env, then run 'systemctl restart matter-hub'. Create the long-lived access token in Home Assistant under your user profile, Security tab.
  • Matter relies on IPv6 and mDNS. The container needs working IPv6 and must be on the same L2 network as your Matter controllers. Access points and switches that filter or rate-limit multicast are the most common cause of devices going 'No Response' after a while - check for IGMP snooping, mDNS/Bonjour filtering and AP isolation.
  • This is the community fork by RiDDiX. The original t0bst4r/home-assistant-matter-hub ended maintenance in January 2026 and receives no further fixes.
