Console du conteneur dans l'interface Proxmox : compte root, connexion automatique sans mot de passe. Le SSH de root n'est ouvert que si vous l'avez demandé à l'installation.

  • The admin password is auto-generated at install, shown once on screen, and saved to /etc/inventree/credentials.txt (mode 0600). If the package ever creates its own (it only does so when the password is auto-generated), it is stored in /etc/inventree/admin_password.txt.
  • Default database backend is SQLite (/opt/inventree/data/database.sqlite3) — well suited to small/medium deployments and single-file backups. For PostgreSQL, set INVENTREE_DB_ENGINE=postgresql plus INVENTREE_DB_NAME/USER/PASSWORD/HOST/PORT before a fresh install. Media/static/backups live under /opt/inventree/data.
  • Unattended install overrides: var_admin_user, var_admin_email, var_admin_password, and var_site_url.

InvenTree is an open-source inventory management system for tracking parts, stock, suppliers, manufacturers, and bills of materials, with a modern web interface and full REST API. This script installs the official InvenTree native apt package (packager.io) on a Debian 13 LXC — no Docker needed. The package provides systemd services (inventree-web, inventree-worker), a nginx reverse proxy on port 80, an auto-created admin account, and runs database migrations during setup.

Configuration : /etc/inventree/config.yaml

Dans le shell du nœud Proxmox. Exécutez cette commande dans le shell du nœud Proxmox, pas dans une VM. Lisez le script d'abord.

Tutoriel pas à pas

De l'interface de Proxmox jusqu'à la première connexion, pour InvenTree.

  1. Ouvrez l'interface de Proxmox dans votre navigateur et connectez-vous.

  2. Dans l'arbre de gauche, cliquez sur votre nœud, puis sur « Shell ».

  3. Vérifiez que le nœud a la place pour ce conteneur : 2 cœurs, 4 Go de mémoire, 20 Go de disque.

  4. Copiez cette commande, collez-la dans le shell et appuyez sur Entrée.

  5. Attendez la fin de l'installation : le script affiche l'adresse du conteneur.

  6. Ouvrez http://ADRESSE-IP:80 dans votre navigateur, en remplaçant ADRESSE-IP par l'adresse affichée.

  7. Connectez-vous avec le compte admin, puis changez tout de suite le mot de passe.

  8. Pour mettre à jour plus tard : tapez update dans la console du conteneur.

  9. Le fichier de configuration se trouve ici : /etc/inventree/config.yaml

À savoir

  • Native apt install requires a Debian 13 (trixie) LXC — the upstream installer supports Debian 13 and Ubuntu 24.04/26.04 only, so there is no Alpine install method for this script. If var_version is set below 13 the installer aborts.
  • Web UI: http://<container-ip>; (nginx on port 80 proxying to gunicorn on localhost:6000). Site URL defaults to the container IP; override with var_site_url=[...] at install or later with inventree config:set INVENTREE_SITE_URL=http://.... The nginx site is /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/inventree.conf (HTTP only) — use a separate HTTPS site or terminate SSL at an external proxy.
  • Services: inventree (main), inventree-web, inventree-worker, plus nginx. Control with systemctl restart inventree / inventree restart, follow logs with inventree logs, and run invoke tasks with inventree run invoke <command>.
  • Update an existing container: run update inside the LXC, or pct exec <CTID> -- update. Options: Update InvenTree (dist-upgrade then apt-get install --only-upgrade inventree, which runs migrations and backs up the database by default — log history in /opt/inventree/log), Remove Unused Packages, or Restart. To track the dev build, replace stable with master in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/inventree.list.
  • Template: Debian 13 standard template from the Proxmox repository — run pveam update, then pveam available --section system | grep debian-13 and pveam download local <template> if missing.
