Adresse
Configuration
/opt/ha-mcp

Système
Debian 13
bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oraad/proxmox-scripts/main/ct/ha-mcp.sh)"

Configuration : /opt/ha-mcp

  3. Vérifiez que le nœud a la place pour ce conteneur : 1 cœur, 1 Go de mémoire, 4 Go de disque.

    bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oraad/proxmox-scripts/main/ct/ha-mcp.sh)"

  • During install a wizard asks for the Home Assistant URL (e.g. http://192.168.1.10:8123) and a long-lived access token (HA Profile → Security → Create Token). The script verifies HA connectivity from inside the container before starting the service. Unattended: var_ha_url=http://192.168.1.10:8123 var_ha_token=YOUR_TOKEN bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oraad/proxmox-scripts/main/ct/ha-mcp.sh)".
  • HTTP mode on port 8086 with an auto-generated MCP_SECRET_PATH. Do not expose this port to the internet without a reverse proxy.
  • Home Assistant OS users may prefer the official MCP Server add-on. This script is for Container/Core or standalone LXC deployments.
  • Add the MCP URL printed at install to your MCP client's config — e.g. {"mcpServers":{"home-assistant":{"url":"http://<container-ip>:8086/mcp-<secret>"}}}. That path is MCP_SECRET_PATH itself. A browser GET may return 405; that is expected. Settings UI: http://<container-ip>:8086/mcp-<secret>/settings. See https://github.com/homeassistant-ai/ha-mcp for details. To federate several ha-mcp LXCs behind one MCP URL, install the agentgateway script.
  • Update an existing container: run update inside the LXC, or pct exec <CTID> -- update from the Proxmox host.
  • Retrieve the MCP endpoint anytime: pct exec <CTID> -- cat /opt/ha-mcp/mcp_endpoint.txt
  • HA and this LXC should be on the same LAN/VLAN. Test connectivity from inside the container: curl -sf -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" http://YOUR_HA_IP:8123/api/. Use http:// unless HTTPS is configured. Regenerate the token if revoked.
  • Service status — Debian: systemctl status ha-mcp and journalctl -u ha-mcp -n 50. Alpine: rc-service ha-mcp status and tail -50 /var/log/ha-mcp.log.
  • Alpine template: run pveam update, then pveam available --section system | grep alpine-3.24. Download if missing: pveam download local alpine-3.24-default_20260116_amd64.tar.xz (use the exact name from pveam available on your arch). Fallback: var_version=3.22 if 3.24 is not listed on an older Proxmox host.
  • Debian 13 and Alpine installs enable nesting and keyctl by default (Debian: systemd compatibility; Alpine: Docker and tunnel agents).
