Accès par défaut

Adresse

Console et SSH
Console du conteneur dans l'interface Proxmox : compte root, connexion automatique sans mot de passe. Le SSH de root n'est ouvert que si vous l'avez demandé à l'installation.

  • There is no default account. Open http://<IP>:8080/login and click Create account: the first sign-up becomes the administrator and closes sign-up, further users are invited from the settings. Anyone who reaches the port can claim it until then, so create the account right after the install.
  • Back up BYTECHEF_ENCRYPTION_PROPERTY_KEY from /opt/bytechef_data/.env together with the database. It encrypts the stored connection credentials, so a database restored without it is useless for them.

ByteChef is an open-source API integration and workflow automation platform. Workflows are built in a visual editor from 170+ connectors, flow controls such as conditions, loops and branches, and JavaScript, Python or Ruby code steps, and run manually, on a schedule or from webhooks. This script builds the server and web client from source and runs them with PostgreSQL.

Configuration : /opt/bytechef_data/.env

Dans le shell du nœud Proxmox. Exécutez cette commande dans le shell du nœud Proxmox, pas dans une VM. Lisez le script d'abord.

Générateur : préparer la commande avec vos réglages

Remplissez seulement ce que vous voulez changer. Les valeurs vides gardent le réglage par défaut du script.

Tutoriel pas à pas

De l'interface de Proxmox jusqu'à la première connexion, pour ByteChef.

  1. Ouvrez l'interface de Proxmox dans votre navigateur et connectez-vous.

  2. Dans l'arbre de gauche, cliquez sur votre nœud, puis sur « Shell ».

  3. Vérifiez que le nœud a la place pour ce conteneur : 4 cœurs, 6 Go de mémoire, 12 Go de disque.

  4. Copiez cette commande, collez-la dans le shell et appuyez sur Entrée.

  5. À la question « Use Default Settings? », répondez oui pour garder les réglages par défaut. Répondez non pour choisir vous-même l'identifiant, l'adresse, le disque ou le réseau.

  6. Attendez la fin de l'installation : le script affiche l'adresse du conteneur.

  7. Ouvrez http://ADRESSE-IP:8080 dans votre navigateur, en remplaçant ADRESSE-IP par l'adresse affichée.

  8. Pour entrer dans le conteneur : sélectionnez-le dans Proxmox, puis « Console ». La session root s'ouvre sans mot de passe.

  9. Pour mettre à jour plus tard : tapez update dans la console du conteneur.

  10. Le fichier de configuration se trouve ici : /opt/bytechef_data/.env

À savoir

  • Webhook triggers and OAuth2 connection redirects are built from BYTECHEF_PUBLIC_URL in /opt/bytechef_data/.env, which points at the container IP. Change it when the IP changes or ByteChef sits behind a reverse proxy or domain, then run systemctl restart bytechef.
  • ByteChef is open-core. Like the official image, this build runs the Enterprise Edition (BYTECHEF_EDITION=EE, the default; CE mode does not start in 0.34.x): the modules under the ByteChef Enterprise License (embedded iPaaS, API platform, AI gateway, SSO and SCIM, custom components, audit log) are free for development and testing, production use of them needs a subscription.
  • Install and every update compile ByteChef from source (Gradle, around 650 modules, plus the React client), which takes about 15 minutes on 4 cores and needs the 6 GB of RAM. The running server is fine with 2 GB, so the RAM can be lowered after the install and raised again before an update.
  • Code steps (JavaScript, Python, Ruby) run on the Temurin JDK in GraalVM's interpreter mode, not with the GraalVM JIT of the official image, so they work but run slower.
